These terms apply to all makeup bookings, masterclasses and private classes with Glam with Aaliya (“Aaliya”, “we”, “us”), based in Johannesburg, South Africa. By paying a deposit or booking a service, you agree to them.
Booking your appointment
A booking is only confirmed once your 50% deposit has been received. To check availability, please have ready your full name, contact number, event date and time, event type, service address, number of clients, and any inspiration photos.
Bookings cannot be accepted within 48 hours of the event. Weekend appointments are by arrangement, and weekday slots are kept for bridal trials and classes.
Prices and travel
All service prices are quoted in South African Rand and exclude travel. Travel is charged at R12 per kilometre, both ways. Where paid parking is required, it is covered by you or added to your invoice. Any additional or out-of-area travel is charged to you. Call-out fees are based on your location and confirmed when you enquire.
On the day
For on-location bookings, please provide a suitable, clean work area with good lighting. Each makeup session is booked for up to one hour. A late fee of R500 applies for every 15 minutes of client delay, as it affects the time set aside for you and any bookings after yours.
Skin, allergies and liability
Please tell us about any allergies or skin sensitivities before your booking. Aaliya uses professional, skin-friendly products, but is not liable for allergic reactions or skin complications. You book at your own discretion and are responsible for disclosing anything relevant to your skin.
Once you leave the chair, your service is considered complete. Any touch-ups after that point are charged separately, as they need extra time and product.
Classes and masterclasses
Masterclass and private class places are confirmed on payment. Certificates are awarded on completion. Class content is for your personal learning and may not be recorded, copied or resold without permission.
Photography
Aaliya may photograph your finished look for her portfolio and social media. If you would prefer she did not share your images, simply let her know before your booking.
Your agreement
These Terms & Conditions work together with our Payment, Deposit, Cancellation, Refund, Privacy and Cookie policies, which together form your full agreement with Glam with Aaliya. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version always applies.
